I am starting a new monthly post-Work In Progress Wednesday. I will be posting my WIP projects the first Wednesday of the month. Feel free to post a link in the comments to your WIP projects, craft, knitting, crochet, etc.
I am currently working on a scarf for my nephew A (I have already sent some things to his twin sister M). This is a simple scarf made using double crochet in the back posts to create a stripe pattern. I am using Lion Brand Thick & Quick Grey Yarn and the border is Vanna's Choice.
I am also working on the first of two carseat afghans for a family friend who is expecting twins (2nd set-yikes!), I am using Caron Simply Soft yarn in neutral colors as she doesn't know the sex of the twins. I am making this pattern up as I go along. I like the boarder, although I don't think I made my foundation chain long enough so I am making the boarder the left side rather than the top or bottom. I plan on making a second afghan using all greens and I think I will make that one more of a random stripe pattern.
| Yes, I am using paper clips as stitch markers :) |
I have also decided to make a afghan for Project Linus. I think I am going to use the Lion Brand Log Cabin Afghan pattern:

Hopefully I will have made progress by next month!

I really like the middle project. Such interesting rows of stitches!
ReplyDeleteI like the green yarn you're using on the scarf. I also love the colors you're using for the twins cars eat afghans. And I love log cabin blankets, and yours looks great! I think I'm going to make one soon! Thanks for sharing @ Submarine Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI found this via @ Submarine Sunday. I'm sure your nephew would love the scarf :)
